“What is a Servant”

Philippians 2:1-8

Servant – one who gives himself up for service.

The greatest thing we can do is to give ourselves up as a servant to God.

If I’m a servant to God I will be a servant to others.

   I. A servant dies to himself. vs. 2

     “God uses those that are closest to Him. ” D.L Moody

 II. A servant’s duties are to others. vs. 3

      When my servant’s heart is not what it needs to be I won’t think of others.

III. A servant divides but other’s get the biggest part. vs. 3

IV. A servant will postpone his plans for others.

 V. A servant displays himself as little.
