“The Response of Godly Sorrow”

I Corinthians 7:9-11

The word “sorry” is used as an expression, not as a change.

God works in our life to show us where we are wrong.

  I. There is a desire to change.

      We have to recognize what we have to be sorry for.

 II. Sorry pertains to our relationship with God.

      You cannot be wrong with a Christian and not be wrong with God.

III. It will be displayed by the truth barriers.

       If you say you’re sorry and you’re not going to change you’re lying.

       It is spiritual sorry of failing our Master.

       It is a permanent regret to not want to walk that path again.
