I. The Humanity of Prayer.
Elijah was just another man and had the same affections as you and me.
Get your relationship with others right so that God will hear your prayers.
Sometimes you might now get your prayers answered right away.
Elijah had the same excuses.
He didn’t let his passions control Him. When he was discouraged, he talked to God.
Our prayers ought to not be about asking God for a lot of stuff but prayer that whatever his will is we will be satisfied.
II. The Humility of Prayer.
He prayed earnestly. Matt 6:5
You release your will to God.
III. The Honor of Prayer.
When you see God answer prayer.
