“Stand Still”

Exodus 14:13-16

 I. We don’t need a bridge.

      Looking at the Red Sea with no way to cross we think in our mind we need to build a bridge.

      Instinct makes us want to create a way.

      God has a plan for your life, don’t go above God.

       Sometimes God has to make us wait by putting things in our life.

 II. We don’t need noise. Num. 9:8

       We need to hear what the Lord says.

       When you’re headed somewhere with your mind made up, you won’t hear the voice of God.

III. We can’t afford to be disobedient.

       Those that went over dry ground were grateful for those that were obedient.

       Our families are safe when we are obedient.

IV. We don’t need to follow another God. I Sam. 12:7

       Their fathers followed after other gods and had to face judgment.
