“O Sleeper, Wake Up.”

I. Jonah indifference.

He was indifferent to obey God’s call he decided to go down in the boat and go to sleep.

Proverbs 19:15   Proverbs 20:13

It’s time to awake out of our sleep and do the call of God.

II. The identity of Jonah.

a) What is thy occupation?

What do you want to do with your life?

b) Whence comest thou?

Not just physical location but mentally and spiritually.

c) What is thy country?

Where do you pledge your allegiance?

d) Of what people art thou?

What is the group that you congregate with?

You have to be associated with the right kind of people.

The first time Jonah prayed he was in trouble.

Jonah prayed when he was a miserable man.

III. The indignation of Jonah.

Jonah was angry because the people repented.

Philippians 1:21-24

May we wake up and see the needs of others!
