“It’s Another Year”

This feast is to remind them of the promised that God gave to the Israelites.

Where did the feast of the Passover come from? Exodus 12:14-20

   I. There was a cleansing of the home.

       All leaven was to be removed.

  II. There was a time of preparation.

       They were to prepare a lamb . Exodus 12:1-13

       Requirements of the Lamb:

       Without blemish.

       A male of the first year.

       Judged to be the right lamb and set apart.

       Our Lamb was set apart.

       Our Lamb was condemned by no fault of his own. John 19:4

III. There was a time of remembrance.

       Are we preparing our heart to receive Christ?

       Are we preparing our heart for God to have more control?
