“Choosing your Hard Things”
Psalms 60:1-12

There are three groups of people in the church: Lost Sinners, Lazy Saints, Loyal Soldiers
Hard things will come to all of us.
They come in 3 different ways.
I. Through indignation against your sin. Vss. 1-3
God is angry with the wicked. Prov. 13:15
God knows what sin you are in. You maybe able to hide it from someone, but you cannot hide it from God.
II. Through ignorance about the Scriptures. Matt. 7
The only way to live an abundant life is to live straight.
Are you able to tell someone why you believe what you believe?
When people become ignorant of the Scriptures then they don’t know when the preacher is off.
III. Through involvement as soldiers.
When you’re real, you’re real.
Hardness of a soldier brings delight.
