  I. They are provisions from the past.

Don’t forget the sling and stone from the past that has helped with battles.

II. The precepts of the past.

David had been taught when he was young about how to use them. Psalms 119:27

III. They are practices from the past.

His practice was he knew how to pick the stones. Psalms 18:34

IV. They are predicaments from the past.

David chose those stones because there had been predicaments in his past.

They get you to understand that you don’t need less of the church but more of it.

Remember each battle is different.
